Our Inspiration

Mission

In God’s Grace, Fellowship Church – Rouge Park exist to bring Hope to GTA – by identifying people in need of the Gospel, investing our lives in sharing the Gospel, inviting them into Biblical Community for making disciples, and increasing disciples making by bringing them to spiritual maturity and sending them out to do the same.

Vision

To that end, we aim to develop servant leaders and plant more Healthy Churches to do the same. A multi ethnic church of disciples and disciple makers.

Core Values

The Value of the Gospel: The Gospel is God’s good news that Jesus Christ died on the cross, was buried and raised on the third day to save undeserving sinners from His eternal judgment (Hell). We value the Gospel because it alone is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes. (Rom. 1:16, 3:21-26; 1 Cor. 15:1-28)

The Centrality of the Bible: The Scriptures will serve as the foundation and catalyst for everything that is done at Fellowship Rouge Park and the churches that will be planted in the future. The Bible is inerrant, authored by God, and have been given to humanity to discover life. (2 Tim. 3:16-17; 2 Pet. 1:21)

The Emphasis on Church Planting: We value church planting as the primary means to discover those individuals whom the Holy Spirit is drawing to the Father. We believe church planting to be THE greatest resource in fulfilling the Great Commission throughout the GTA. (Acts 13:1-21)

Purposeful Evangelism: Above all else we value making disciples of all the nations. We believe it to be the privilege of every Christ follower to proclaim the Gospel to every tribe, tongue, people, and nation. (Matt. 28:18-20; Acts 1:8; Rev. 5:9-10)

Purposeful Discipleship: While the Great Commission is the task at hand we believe it is only the beginning. As a local Church it is our responsibility to demonstrate (through modeling and instruction) how a new believer prays, studies the Bible, shares their faith, and in turn becomes a disciple maker. (Rom. 6:3-4, Rom. 12:2; 1 Pet. 2:9)

The Power of Prayer: We believe that next to salvation, open access to the throne of God is not only a privilege for the individual in Christ but a necessity for a vibrant walk with the Lord. (Philippians 4:6-7; Psalm 66:12-20)

Genuine Christ Community: To cultivate authentic relationships, accountability, integrity, and life change through Life Groups. To love, serve, exhort, correct, and forgive one another in committed relationships so that the world may see the reality of Christ’s transforming power and the quality of Christian community. (John 13:34-35; Phil. 2:3-11; 1 John 4:7-11)

Clear Communication and Invitation to Respond to the Gospel: We desire to communicate the good news of the Gospel message in a manner that is clear, and understandable to those outside of Christianity. Also, we desire to ALWAYS (whether in a corporate gathering or private) invite individuals to respond once the Gospel has been clearly communicated. (1 Cor. 9:18-23)
